Hello all,

I am looking at buying a used 95 Civic EX with a little over 84k miles on it. When I went and looked at the car, the guy said he just replaced the front axle and that it was a "common" repair on the civics. My first questions is if this is true?! He said that it was making a noise and that is the reason why he got it replaced, I asked him if it had ever been in an accident and he said no. The guy has the car listed for $4500, and was wondering if that is a fair price for the car. He has not had the timing belt replaced, so I thought that would be an expense, as well as it needs two new tires....there is also a scratch on the rear bumper that was touched up. I was thinking of asking $3900-4100 for the car, what do you all think?
