"Who taught you how to read? I said unpeaceful protests accomplish nothing. There was not one peaceful protest throughout the entire conflict. They used this as an excuse to go crazy and act like a bunch of derranged lunatics. Ever notice how you never see normal people protest? Labor strikes, yes. But political protests are usually done by some left field radicals to begin with. No matter what it is."
nice blanket statement there buddy. Do you have any idea how many protests took place across the country as well as the world? For you to say there was not a single peaceful protest is, IMHO, ignorant as hell. Sure, many protests create a paradox between the power of the protestors and the power which they protest against (i.e., blocking off business districts), but people marching on campus holding speaches as others chant and hold signs, is far from "unpeaceful" (not a real word).
Even when we place the good next to the bad, the bad is far from other protests. Compare an anti-war (usually anti-violence, therefore not going to do anything crazy and harmful) protest to that of a protest agaisnt the WTO (often consisting of anarchists and anti-corporates).
