Hey, can anyone help me with a transmission problem im having? I have a 97 prelude with the shift-tronic sport shift automatic transmission and my Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on twice, the first time i had my mechanic run a diagnostic, and he reset it, and told me to let him know if it comes on again. The light came on this after noon and i was using the sequential sport shifter and started in first after a light but hit an unexpected bump (new orleans roads are terrible) and the bump threw the car foward and my foot to floor the pedal, i think that since i didnt manually shift it to second.. something happened with the transmission. I am very p*ssed off:madfawk: b/c i have only had the car for a couple of weeks, and since it is used, i thought it could be, b/c the transmission is old....
