I have the 7893 and love it. I have not had any problems with it so far and I bought it about a year ago. I will say, and everyone already knows this, being that it is a motorized plate, it will eventually fail. All motorized mechanisms fail at some point. But like Randy said, they do enough R&D that you should be str8 for quite some time.
