I base my concerns about Subaru's build quality on one of the J.D. Power initial quality studies. I dont have the link here with me at work, but I will paste it when I get home. I think it was in 2001. Subaru placed like 86th out of 95 or something. Ive heard the complaints about this type of study as it is limited in what it has to say about the cars overall quality and I agree with some of them. I do, however, think its fairly obvious that neither Subaru or Dodge are going to be giving Honda or Toyota any competition in the quality category.

btw, I think ive decided to buy a used Lexus SC300 and drop in a Supra TT!!! Luxury and 450 hp.
