Oops - my mistake. I thought you meant you just got the car from the original owner. I have a friend of mine who just picked up a '00 GSR and is looking do do all kinds of stuff to it, but she has never driven one, so this is what I keep telling her.

In this case, an intake isn't a bad idea. There will be a million suggestons on which one is better, but the AEM CAI seems to be really good and used to be about $170. I don't know what it is now that the V2 is out. If you get that, let us know how it is.
Modifying the suspension is good too, just make sure you have some high-performance tires on there too. In fact, tires would probably be my first "mod"
