how do you lower the car again to make sure you get all the oil out?
this is what i do:
- jack it up, unbolt the drain plug, drop it back down, let it drain for about an hour.
- raise it again. put the drain bolt back on. take the oil filter off.
- unbolt the drain plug once more to get any last remnants of oil out.
- bolt it. put the new filter on. drop it. put in fresh oil. done.
