I believe the Spec V is rated at 175 hp now. Plus, that article had them testing like 5 different spec v's, and getting the same numbers at the dyno. So, I'm trying not to pay too much attention to the claimed hp of the Spec V. just trying to focus on everything else.

They had a defective ECU in those cars. The Spec V now has 170hp instead of 180hp.
