I wonder where people get those ideas from?

The H22a only puts out marginally more torque than the f22, thus there should be NO reason why the accord ones cannot hold up to h22a power since the h22a does NOT put out that much more instantaneous power than an f22. Where the h22 differs is that it revs much higher, but then that shouldnt effect axle strength except in 1st gear if it would ever come down to it.

anyways, if u are considering to shell out $$$ for a h22a typeS, you might as well pickup an h23a off an accord SiR wagon... the extra displacement might be worth your while w/ what I think would be a broader torque curve than a peaky h22a typeS one. Less "peak HP", but probably more overall torque.
