don't get me wrong... Since I still have the Civic, I'm all for IRL ass-draggin'. I did some good ones tonight on my way home from the arcade. One especially nice one that I was able to hit a 90 degree street corner doing about 40-45 and recover smoothly.

Yeah. All the folks who play it a lot for good times, and massive upgrades eventually learn the rocket start. It's basically like Mario Kart where you hit the gas at that precise moment when the light turns green and you get a boost.
