sounds to me like you didn't NEED it replaced then. IMO, it should only be replaced if you 1.)are able to keep up on all ur regularly scheduled maintenance, or 2.)if your car hesitates on acceleration or is running funny. Im doing it on my car cause it's not running too good and because it's got 110k on it and who knows when/if it was ever replaced. It's part of my complete tune-up it needs so badly.
well as far as i know.... it was the OEM filter, and i had 140k miles.....
