well it runs on about what sounds to be 2 cylinders and the spark plugs are totally covered in oil. Im not 100% on the piston rind theory just preparing for the worse. Going to crack it open on Monday.

Why crack it open? Why not just do a compression test first to figure out if it's your rings or your valve seals?
Takes like 10 - 15 min to do a compression test... JMO
