Ok i replaced my ignitor tonight and the old one was covered in a greenish hard frozen powder... just wondering what that could be?
When i took off my MSD distributor CAP i noticed my red layering on the external coil part is getting smaller and i looked on the inside of the cap and i noticed it was almost making a internal coil again with the red layering. just wondering if i should keep my MSD ignition and blaster 2 coil on the CAP because it starts up very hard right away but i wanna know if i let it MELT or whatever it is doing with the red part, will it work fine pretty soon? also i looked in the INTERNAL coil hole and it was coverd in broken down parts from the red stuff but it was in crumbes... please help me.
ok 1 last thing for a while if all this gets answered... before i replaced my ignitor i was flashing a 1 code then it paused and then it blinked 15 times for the ignitor code and i replaced the ignitor but not code 1 which is O2 sensor and now when i look at my ecu there are NO blinks what so ever, so i'm wondering if that 1 code wasn't really the 1 code, it would blink first thing then pause then do 15 more blinks in a row.
Thanks for answering whoever helps a youngin out... later
