i own a 97 hatch... and about 8 mos. after removing the cat and putting in headers etc. the CEL came on.. we brought it to a mechanic and it coded as a o2 sensor error.. he thought it was shorted (i have it taped over from the headers) but it turns out it wasnt shorted and now it works again. the question is what to do with the caspers o2 sensor i bought, is it worth my while to put it in? or should i just leave it until it actualy breaks?
