no i dont' want to discharge.. i want to reset it so it will act as a cap again. please read what i'm saying.. i can discharge it with a sissors if i wanted to. if i have to discharge before it'll act as a cap again then that is what i must do.

however i have NO IDEA how to do it right now. i have no chip.. is it absolutely needed or can i do those same steps without one.
