Because different areas do not have the same laws and telling him he can sue for this and that is nothing but fluff...He was asking for straight advice and people say sue him for hit and run etc.....When it comes down to it, they do not know what they are talking about.....I am trying to prevent bad advice here
well sure laws are different in every area and there is no substitute for a good lawyer but not everyone has the money to see one or a friend that is one. I personally never said anything about sueing my advice was more towards the fact that he was hit and the guy didn't leave his insurance information which i'm pretty sure is considered a criminal offense just about everywhere. if he wanted actual advice he could bank on he shouldn't have posted a question here he should have consulted an attorney, nothing said here is set in stone...
