you're problems aren't that "severe". I think you're just trying to rationalize and you have you're mind set on getting the 6 speed and by thinking you got major problems, it justifies trading in your current car in your mind. The problems should be fixed by warranty. There are always bugs to be worked out with the very first cars during the first year usually. you've got your mind on the 6 speed and probably are looking for an excuse to get the other car rather than dealing with the warranty repairs. Hey if you got the extra cash laying around go out and get it, but don't make the excuse of "severe" problems with your brand new car. I think it's just you're way of thinking and it feels good to make yourself believe there are "severe" problems so when you trade it in and pay the extra cash, you won't have second thoughts or regrets about the trade. That's just my two cents. Good luck on whatever you choose to do.
