NO, Helmets of any kind are only rated for ONE impact at full force, and are designed to hold together for sufficient protection from subsequent hits there-after. Once any helmet, SA or M rated, takes a hit [even dropping accidently from waist level to the ground], it should be replaced, though some places like Bell will X-Ray helmets to check for a safety compromise.
I agree. the helmet should be replaced if dropped, etc.
But I do believe M helmets are lighter than most SA helmets? or am I wrong again? This is what I've been told by the "old timers."
