Almost any manufacturer will list those items, it's just an industry tactic to sucker in clueless dopes. Congrats to everyone who figured that out...
And if no one's noticed, Hyundai and Kia are eating Honda/Toyota/everyone else's lunch on small, affordable cars. It's been a proven fact that most people will repeat-buy the same brand again. So you sucker them in now, and chances are 5 years later they'll buy a product from you again. Despite the low margins for econoboxes, I'm surprised that Toyota didn't do this before.
i couldn't agree with you more. the very reason toyota decided to bring these out was because Kia/Hyundai is eating into toyotas, and even hondas to an extent, sells. those of you that believe that toyota is lowering their standards by selling a cheap car need to look at the facts again. the tercel is no longer offered and the civic has become more expensive over the years. the 'quality' japanese companies are now needing something new to fill the 'cheap-yet-reliable-car' void. don't be surprised to see honda bring the jazz/fit to the US.
