well cryogens look really dark so you may be getting the wrong idea, but thats just his camera I assume. You don't paint over the main reflector parts (towards the back) just the front where its straight, instead off all those turns on the inside. ehh I kinda suck at explaining this I just realized, but you would know what to paint once you opened it up.
