If your not the original owner or you've moved since you bought the car and didn't inform Honda of your new address then you wouldn't have been notified. All owners of recalled vehicles(includes anyone Honda was unable to notify) are entitled to receive the necessary replacement and repair free of charge at any Honda dealer.

there was a recall but it was on the 97 version of the 5th gen and up including all 6th gens. But...the problem was that you couldnt start the vehicle, it had nothing to do with overheating. That i know of anyway. You can call any honda dealership, ask them to plug in your VIN and they can tell you if its been done or not.
