Why would you stop with the Evo VIII? Why not just tell him to get a true badass like an M5? Or maybe get the last American bad ass, the Impala SS with the 350 in it? I wouldn't say something "idiotic" like that cuz he didn't ask what car he should get, but rather can I put a 6 speed in?

haha me a rice boy yeah with an h22 and a 5sp swap in car that looks stock. i'm no rice boy, but i am an accountant and financially buying a brand new car to drop tons of money to make it a manual tranny is financially stupid when you have many other choices out there.
i don't think you guys fully understand the cost of this undertaking. this is not like doing a 5sp swap in a 4th or 5th gen accord when you can get a tranny for like $300 and all the parts for like $600 brand new. the idea of course would be great, i personally don't like the accord V6s competition. so hypothetically it would be cool, but not worth it unless you planned on doing car shows where custom things and being original really count.
