i dont that amp can handle 1/2 OHM. itll do 1 OHM though.

Power HX2 are DVC 2OHM
Punch HX2 are DVC 4OHM.

DVC 2OHM: wire each sub in series, that will get you a 4OHM impedance for the sub. then connect each sub into the amp. the amp will then take the pair and wire them in parralle for you. the amp will play at 2OHM, which is the full 1200 watts.

DVC 4OHM: wire each sub in parralle, you will get a 2OHM impedance for each sub. wire each sub to the amp. the amp will wire them in parralle once more. the amp will play @1OHM.

the amp can do 1OHM just fine as long as you give it enough ventilation. i had my bp600.1 blasting a pair of w3 for 1.5 hours on a trip @1OHM. the amp was HOT to the touch.
