I recently bought a pair of Infinity Kappa 639.5i 6x9" speakers for the rear of my 99 Accord Coupe. The place I bought them from said that they would fit, however when I tried to install them there wasnt enough depth in the trunk due to the two black metal bars that run across the trunk. My Question is what is the function of these two bars and what would happen if I removed them to allow clearance for the speakers. Thanks a lot.
