unless you live somewhere where the temperature drops below freezing on a regular basis, or you're running a brand new engine, 5w30 is too thin. 10w40 or 15w50 is probably a better choice, especially with a turbo... synthetic of course.

i didn't think 5th gens came with oil coolers... i own one and i've never seen one on my car.
