Well I did make a decision, I'm gonna keep my hatch. I figure your only young (and stupid) once. But I really gotta fix the rust on my rear quater panels. My dad (who has been a drywall contractor for over 25 years and owns his own company) says he can do it for me. He's done it before he says.

However welding in new metal would be difficult for us. So he said he'll use a combo of fiberglass and bondo to do it and it'll look perfect. Bakeoff told me over AIM last night that even if I did weld metal I'd have to bondo to get the welds all nice and smooth.

So is a fiberglass/bondo combo the best way to do the rust on my quater panels?
