Now, you said it's a bit extreme when I compared the Accord to Porsches or Ferraris but you compared the same car to a 3000GT?

Both Porsches and Ferraris have the chrome emblems on them (like the words "Turbo", "360 Modena"), but I have never seen one with gold emblems. Actually, I see more Civics and Camrys with gold emblems than Mercedes and Jaguars.

Anyway, it's your car and your money. Do what you like!
Well, these were separate comparisons on separate issues -- what I meant with regard to your mentioned Ferraris and Porsches was that they dont really wear a great deal of "badging" anywhere, save for the "Turbo" monikers you mention---mass market vehicles like the Camry and Accord have badging all over the place---the logos, the trim levels, the engine sizes--I never think of exotics like you mention as ever weaing honest to goodness "chrome badging"---like a Camaro or Firebird, there is no "chrome badging" anywhere on the car -- when I "compared" the Accord to a 3000GT, I wasnt really "comparing" it---what I was trying to do was show how a big spoiler off the trunk of a sports coupe can make a dramatic difference---a visual impact---when caught by onlookers on the street....to me, the Accord's small wing doesn't really have that "woah....get outta this guy's way" effect when Accord Coupes are spotted on the street by other drivers...I feel the 3000GT's does, thats all.
