Yeah it was easy spray the cleaner stuff you can get from comptech. Let it sit then wash it out with water. Then respray with oil. Thats all there is too it. It may take a while to fully dry after its been rinsed. But thats all there is too it. I clean it jsut to keep it working at peak and when i was at home it was on a ranch and it got dirty fairly quick i jsut look at it and if its dirty clean it. Its really easy to do since the filter is basically in the stock location and not down low. I would think the more you clean any filter would be better.
