Thanks everyone, I figured out how to take off the stock shift knob, and now I realize that there's NOTHING on the knob that would hold the shift boot up. The boot just sags and the metal bar is exposed. So, basically I'm guessing that can't do anything until I buy a MOMO shift boot or something. Any suggestions?

If not, I now have a used MOMO Combat Carbon Fiber shift knob up for grabs.
