Default ATTN::: INspyral!!

Hey man whats up? I wrote earlier about the leaky autometer oil pressure sending unit. Well, it turns out that the male-male fitting going from the block to the T Broke!!! Since the threads broke off inside the sending unit bore, i tried using a screw extractor to remove the broken piece. In doing so, i managed to crack the block where the sending unit screws in. My question is , can i have this small piece welded and rebored? I am planning on removing the head to replace the head gasket (from coolant problems) anyways so it will be fairly accessable. Can i have this done??? Thank you...

P.s> ALWAYS run a line from the block to the sender on the firewall... this is a real pain in the ass!
