On my Integra, I have to loop a string around the pedal to pull it back up. Otherwise it just stays down on the floor since the pressure plate springs aren't pushing it back up. Otherwise, yes its the same as bleeding the brakes.
Some people like to back-bleed the clutch. Get something like a MityVac to pump brake fluid INTO the slave bleeder screw. Then you're pushing the air bubbles 'uphill' towards the MC. The fluid & bubbles will go into the reservoir, so you have to empty it with a turkey baster or something... so it doesn't overflow all over the place.
