Hey guys/gals, the next mod I am considering in a cat-back exhaust. Now I had my eye one the Greddy EVO or the Skunk 2 units.

But then my dad mentioned a shop in Pittsburgh that makes custom exhaust. I was a little leery at first but I said "Oh hell it cant hurt to stop by". So after talking to the gentlemen there he sounded like he knew what he was doing. He mentioned I had some choices on the size of midpipe I could use (2-4 inch). For the midpipe they use a 14 gague pipe which is pretty thick And he mentioned that he could replace the resonator with a turbo muffler(i think he just calls it that, im not really sure). And then I had a choice of 4 different Arvin mufflers. The one I liked was the model number 200317. Its basically a straight through canister style muffler. And the part that made me happy is that he charges $300.00 installed . I mean for the price I cant beat it.


What do you guys think of this deal?? MY main goal it to have a nice deep low tone. Not throaty or high pitched>> would that muffler do that job for me?? And whats the benifits of choosing different midpipe sizes, does smaller do___ and bigger does___??
