It is my understanding that 2.5 in" or better is best for turbo apps correct?

 

For a turbo car you'll want 2.75" to 3" pipes.

All-motor, you want 2.5" at the biggest unless you have a gonzo setup. For a plain bolt on type of deal 2.25" is fine.

 

What is this Gonzo setup cho speak of?

Well I called and he said They dont use a mandrel to bend the pipe. But he said since the pipe is a 14 gague, it dosent really crease and it wolnt affect flow much at all. Plus he said If i bring him a muffler, he would charge me 175 for everything. Does anybody know a muffler that will provide a deep low tone???

check ebay.. they have numorous mufflers for like around $50.. i would maybe get the N1 or fireball knockoff.. those shouldnt sound too bad.
