I think the d series headers do bolt up, they just don't make it around the oil pan.

Go to www.thepartstrader.com you should be able to find tons of stock headers for B series motors for cheap. In the meantime, I would just bust out a tape measure and see how much of an extension you need.....extension :naughty:
