First off, spining tires under no-load conditions is very, very bad for your tires (they can easily explode) and your driveline. Note - a dyno session is not the same thing as there is a load (the rollers).

Secondly, having lived in Toronto my entire life until recently, you MUST get snow tires - failing that, some good All-Seasons. Do a search, there have been many thread on tire selection.
