It sounds like you just went under the car to look to see if you could see something. Go back and make sure you bolt for the shift linkage are tight (re torque 'em). and make sure the pin is in properly.

so back and look for stuff, and if the problem is still there take it to an experienced mechanic, and see what he says.

It's kinda hard to solve the problem with "it pulls out of 2nd gear". We can only do so much with limited info.
