yeah my car is lowered about 2.5 inches now with coilovers b/c of winter but summertime I'm usually lowered about 3.25. My car was lowered when we tried the 17s. Obviously I won't go that low with 18s if I got them. I dunno I'm not too worried about going fast since I am in college and don't have the money it takes to make my car fast so I just want to add a liitle style and that's it. One thing I am thinking though is that the team dynamics were gunmetal and my car is black so maybe the dark wheel against a dark car made them look smaller than normal.
