Every article I've read on the '03 Accords seem to state one specific area that baffled them. The tires. Stopping distances recorded were less than stellar for the Accord, which historically has generally good figures.

I'm >this< close to getting an '03 EX 5-speed, but am somewhat concerned about this tire issue. Does anyone know if the dealer will change this out by request before purchase, or will a tire company like Discount Tire take trades on factory tire/wheels? And even if I did, I wouldn't know what to get. Anyone have any suggestions? What decent performing all-season's can be had these days?

Any info would be extremely appreciated.
