And no, I haven't been on wheels larger than 16-17's on a civic but (IS300=19's=no slowdown).
All I want to know is will 215/35/19's rub with a 2.5" drop??
Thanks,
V.
If you don't like the truth then you shouldn't be on the forums. Haven't we been through this before in another thread? The IS300s have a whole lot more torque than a Civic.
Let's see:
1992-1995 Civic Si hb has about 125hp and 107ft/lbs of torque
2001 IS300 has 215 bhp Torque: 218 lb-ft
even the 1999-2000 Civic Si has 160hp and 111 ft/lbs of torque
Can't you see that? Or do we have to go around in circles over and over? 80 more hp and 111 more ft/lbs of torque.
So you mean to tell me if you put 19s on a IS300 and 19s on a Geo Metro both of them will not be affected by the heavy ass 19s? So tell me will putting 24" wheels/tires on your IS300 and then on a Dodge Viper RT/10 both cars will not be affected by the 24" wheels/tires?
WAKE UP! SHEESH!
But yes without rolling the fenders and/or modifying the fenders you will rub with 215/35x19" wheels and tires.
