but to play your stupid little game, a turbine is not mechanically driven, a transmission is. a fluid bearing turbine is not going to suffer significant damage due to backspinning, as long as it's not running peak rpm for the turbine's design. sensibility tells you to not abuse the turbine without a BOV, but like i said, limited useage until the BOV is installed will not damage a turbine. if you can compare a turbine backspin situation with throwing a tranny in reverse while moving forward, thus overworking the synchronizers, abusing the straight cut teeth on a reverse gear, forcing a shifter fork, and chewing up engagement dogs, then you have much to learn about common sense.
and if a BOV is such an issue, maybe you should write a letter to Greddy and let them know their turbo systems are faulty, and prone to instant breakage.
