Also a 215 tire isn't too wide for a 2000 civic.... I've seen 225's 35/18's on a civic so I know a 215/35/19 should work.

Oh it wouldn't would it? I'm assuming you've never been on wheels larger than 16s or 17s. Believe me the rolling diameter is not even close to stock size anymore after 16s. 205/40x17" is like 1/4" taller. 215/35x18" is like 1/2" taller, and 215/35x19" is huge!

And yes 215/35x19" is large. You have to take into consideration the aspect ratio too.

But you sound like you want ot do it anyway so why ask? Just go ahead and get them.
