Also, I guess BMW is introducing a Performance Package, which includes 10HP more, a 6-speed, revised spring rates, etc. This is in response to every company under the sun going after BMW's 3-Series. Supposedly, with shorter gearing and 10HP more, it knocks the 0-60mph time off by a half a second. The last 3-Series Car & Driver tested was a 330Ci with a 5-speed that did 0-60mph in 5.8 seconds.
That would mean a theoretical 0-60mph time of around 5.3 seconds.

That's almost unbelieveable, it eclipses the E36 M3's acceleration.
