I'm thinking about removing all the heat shields under the car. My question is:
Any reason not to remove the heatshields bolted under the car other than noise and comfort?

Is there anything I risk by doing so? I don't mind the noise since I'm completely gutted, and the heat I don't think will be a big factor.

I'm thinking of removing all the heat shields under the car. The ones that are by the gas tank, and by the shift linkage. All of 'em.
