If your chief concern is the drag strip, and I'm saying this in all seriousness here, I don't think you should purchase an ITR. It's not built for it and there are cheaper, faster cars out there in the quarter. It's been said again and again, the ITR is a track car. I'd save your money, txhatch 
BTW, I'm from Irving, where are you located?
I live near grapevine. I am not getting an ITR for the drag strip. I am wanting to start auto xing and go to some road courses.
