Rock it? All you have to do is remove the wire from the coil to the cap. Crank once and see if it lines up.

I agree that you would never want to run the car without that retaining screw in place for your rotor. Amazing amounts of damage could result.

I'd like to know how your retaining screw was labeled "unuseable". What feat did you complete for this to happen?
