just crank the motor until it does.. its a pain in the ass most of the time... esp. when puting on a non-honda rotor and its 180 out when you have to put it back on.. but yeah easy DIY job
If you do it that way, you should really disconnect the wiring going to the distributor cause you could throw sparks...
I just leave the car in gear and rock it until the rotor is where I want it. It's much safer that way.
