I say don't get a camber kit but get the car aligned properly, and make certain the shop sets the toe to EXACTLY zero or as close as they can possibly get it. This is key to good tire life, along with frequent rotations. If after all that you notice the tires are starting to wear on the inside edge, then get a kit. I did that but saw that I didn't need it. Just check the tires ever few days for the first few weeks after you get an alignment. Also if you rotate your tires every oil change it's not that big of a deal.
I'm lowered almost 2" all around w/ my camber ranging from -2 to -2.4 all around. It's been 25K miles since I installed the suspension and I'm still on the same tires. These tires are just now coming to the end of their life at 40K miles, with only very SLIGHT extra wear on the inside edge.
IMHO camber kits are overrated, and only needed in cases of EXTREME lowering (in which case you're not getting much if any performance benefits), or if you really need adjustability for racing/competition.
