Do you see? Even in your attempts to condone my statement, you have now passed on some uniquely identifiable characteristics which differentiate the types of cars xjdmb16a2six is looking at: high performance engine, larger brakes, beefier clutch, econo-box vs. performance car, only in coupe form (1998-99 only). All of these have some bearing to a rational decision. Liking a car simply because "it goes vroom" makes people appear ignorant and childish...perhaps one in the same.

Although slightly muttled with your own unnecessary comments about how it "has everything you need and nothing you don't", I'm sure that xjdmb16a2six will be able to make a more justified and knowledgeable decision when it comes to buying his car.

Thank you for allowing us to see that you have useful information which can be a contributing factor to future Honda buyers.
Sounds like you're buying your first Honda, eh? If so, great, and welcome to HAN. Feel free to browse all the forums. You will learn alot about all Hondas from this site. Oh, and uh, Civics and Preludes aren't even in the same stratosphere. So if he's looking for a sports car its Prelude. Basic transportation is Civic.
