I'm not sure if a Civic hatch has a hydraulic clutch or not, but I can tell you if you've never driven a car with a hydraulic clutch, you should. The difference is night and day. Smooth, consistant take up, and you never have to adjust anything. The clutch on up-scale Hondas and Acuras give great feedback and make it a blast to shift quick and keep the RPM's up when you're in VTEC. That's another thing, you don't get VTEC on the Civic!
