Still quite ridiculous as to splitting up a country that was neutral (or more likely to be pro-allies) during WWII if it wasn't occupied by the japs...

To Germany it makes sense b/c they were a part of the axis.
Italy wasn't split either if my memory is right...

Korea was not a part of the axis...
Any other countries that got split after WWII?
